Lucy decided to surprise us and come a little early. I wasn't prepared and actually spent part of the time trying to finish up work. Unfortunately that didn't completely happen but we did get to meet Lucy sooner than expected. She was born on February 18 at 9:34 a.m. She looks a lot like her dad. She has his red hair and blue eyes. She was 7 lbs 8 oz and 18.5 inches long. Addi absolutely loves her little sister. She always comes over and says "Hi Luce". It is really cute and we are just amazed that she will say that much. She is a great baby and are so excited that she is part of our family.

This weekend my family came up to help us with the sprinkler system. Addi needed to swim and nothing is fun enough without Devin doing it also. She thought this was the best. If you notice at the end, my dad and Eric are still working while Devin plays. We think this is probably typical behavior for Devin.
Obie got in on the adventure
Cabin
A couple weeks ago we went to the cabin for a couple days. Grandma, Addi and I went over early and then boys followed later on. It was a lot of fun. Addi enjoyed it the best when everyone else showed up.
We worked on teaching Addi how to fold her arms. This is what she did almost the whole time On Saturday we went on a 4-wheeler ride. It was a lot of fun and very pretty.
The ride was just to long for Addi. She was completely tired by the end.

Our Crazy Life
We have almost been in our house for a month and the time has flown. I think we have only stayed home a handful of days. Somehow through the pouring rain and wind we have found time to do a lot of things and have fun. If it wasn't a wedding it was graduation and crazy work schedules. Thankfully life will slow down for a little while. Here are some pics from the last month.
Addi now insists on feeding herself. To bad she wears most of it.
She is our funny faced little girlThe other night we bought addi a life jacket so she could play in the water easily. Little did we know it would become a daily outfit. She wore this almost all day.
We actually tried the life jacket out last week. She jumped into the swimming pool all by herself. She loved it. Each time it surprised her but she was really happy to move around and not have to be held.
