The Chaos has Ended!!!

I know the blog has been lacking attention, but life has been complete chaos. Luckily, I just finished my last test. I am so excited I will never take another test from BYU-Idaho again. I still have today and tomorrow of classes but everything else is done. I cannot explain my excitement at knowing I can now work, sleep and enjoy. Life will definitely be different now. I will post the Christmas decorations and a belly picture as soon as I enjoy a weekend of peace and quiet.

Scary Future

Tonight, we went to Steve and Teea's house to play and have pizza. This is a normal occurance that takes place almost every night. They have three kids, Shawn (9), Braxton (7), and McCall (1.5). They are a lot of fun and always surprising.
Tonight though they had been hellians for Teea and she needed a break. So we left the boys in charge and went to town. It was a nice break for us but a reality check for Eric. Not only did he see how crazy life can be with kids he also had to help with homework. Which brings us to the reason for the title.
Shawn needed help with his homework and the assignment dealt with square roots. Well Steve didn't know how to do it so Eric decided to help. Let me remind you that Eric barely graduated high school and college math. So they began the homework and Eric thought it was easy and Shawn was glad it was over.
Then when we got in the car Eric began to tell me about the reality check he had and how the assignment dealt with square roots. He continued on by saying that it was weird to give the kids an assignment when the answer was some huge number that they needed a calculator to find out. I was a little confused so I asked for an explanation. To make the story short. Eric mixed up square roots and a number being squared.
This could be a story that is only funny because I was there but the reality is I better be the one to help the kids with their homework when the time comes.

Drumroll Please

Well the results are finally in.
It's a Girl!!
We are pretty excited to finally know and be able to have her come. Now the hard part comes in picking a name. The name has changed multiple times and right now we are thinking Camille and calling her Callie. Don't know if this is it but let me know what you think.

Pictures Finally

Okay, so a few weeks or months ago I said I would post pictures of my craft weekend. Well I finally have pictures of one of those projects. It is a baby blanket. It was a lot harder than it looks and I'm pretty sure I will never try to do something like this again.

it isn't that big but I figure it will work
This is a really weird picture to add to my blog, I know. But there is a reason. This is the color of the babies room. We finally got it painted. The color is amber yellow. I really like it but these pictures don't truly show the color.

There is less than one week until we find out what "it" is. As soon as we know I will post it on the blog so you can share in the excitement.

p.s. pray for a girl!!!

Winter Wonderland

For those of you who do not live in the crazy state of Idaho. Here is a preview of what I woke up to on Saturday.

Needless to say, it was a big surprise. Luckily it is gone now, but I am glad that the first snow fall for the year is over. Now hopefully it doesn't snow for many more months or at least until this baby is out and then I can enjoy the snow. I doubt my luck is very good to get this wish.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Life has been running 90 mph. We never know if we are coming or going. I keep hoping this will end but it never seems to.
I went to the doctor yesterday and was happy to find out we only have 4 more weeks until we find out what we are having! Eric is very excited to find out what "it" is. He has already bribed the doctor with money to make sure it is a boy. I just hope that it is a girl so he can have his hopes crushed. I guess that is pretty mean but I think it would be great. Whatever it is, we just hope it comes healthy.
School is going great. I was excited to turn in my grad application and finally have some of the madness done. It is weird to think only 91/2 more weeks of school. I will sure be glad to move on. I just don't know what I will do everyday!!!
I have a lot of fun pictures from Devin's first formal dance. This weekend we went and helped my parents with the dinner. It brought back way too many memories. Don't want to remember a lot of them. I'll post the excitement when I have a few more minutes.
Maybe someday the circus will end or at least slow down.

Cleaning Weekend Gone Bad

This weekend was going to be chuck full of cleaning. With school starting and work we have started de-junking in order to welcome the baby. Part of the de-junking is to paint the second bedroom and make it look like a bedroom/office. Well the plans were changed quickly. As we started to clean the front windows, Bryan and Ashley showed up with car problems. A small problem soon became a big problem and the plans of cleaning went out the window. Instead, I began having a craft weekend. I was able to make a fall wreath, create a craft for my family picture wall, and begin a baby quilt (pictures will follow later). Although the big plans were ruined, other items were accomplished that make it so I cannot complain.

Escaping the Heat

Since the weather has been way to hot. We went in search of some water to try to cool down. After sleeping in for a few hours we finally were able to leave town. Of course we had to take the truck because it is the only vehicle we have. After all the time it takes to get out of town, we finally left town and headed to Ross Park in Pocatello. It is a nice park that has a lazy river and water slide. It was nice and instead of getting just a little sun, we got a lot. At least we don't have to worry about wearing a swimsuit when we go to the family reunion. When the boys finaly came after motorcycling, I decided it was better not to swim since in spent most of the time under the water. It was a nice weekend that allowed us to spend time with family. Hope you had a great weekend also.
